Partnerships & Donor Relations

Building partnerships that sustain impact

The Partnerships & Donor Relations department secures and nurtures the collaborative relationships that make our work possible. The team identifies strategic partners — from community groups to government agencies, corporations, and international donors — and builds trust-based relationships that align mission, capacity, and accountability.

At the heart of this work is a stewardship model: partnerships are designed for mutual benefit, transparency, and long-term sustainability. The department crafts partnership proposals, coordinates joint activities, and develops shared monitoring frameworks so all parties have clear expectations and shared outcomes.

Donor relations are handled with care and professionalism. The department ensures that donor commitments are fulfilled responsibly and that reporting and communication meet donor requirements. Regular updates, site visits, and transparent financial reporting help to maintain confidence and encourage continued investment in programming.

Equally important is the department’s role in identifying non-traditional partners — social enterprises, universities, and local businesses — that can contribute expertise, in-kind resources, or market linkages. These creative collaborations often enhance program sustainability and open pathways for scaling successful interventions.

Key responsibilities:

  • Partner identification, relationship building and MOUs.
  • Donor stewardship, reporting and compliance.
  • Design of collaborative projects and shared monitoring.
  • Leveraging in-kind contributions and technical partnerships.
